Petron Value Card has an independent App that you can download from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. It is a good companion to monitor the points you have earned using Petron Value Card or to validate the points you have purchased using PayBux. However, balance shown in the App is periodically updated hence, the value shown is not in real-time.
To complement this, Paybux app is able to show REAL-TIME balance of your Petron Value Card whenever you buy Petron points using your BUX wallet. The transfer or conversion of bux to points is real-time.
You may see details of Paybux points purchase/conversion transactions reflected using the Petron Value Card App. However, at present, the value is inappropriately categorised as "Total Points Redeemed" instead of "Total Points Transferred" or "Total Points Earned". Petron Value Card App Team is now addressing this. This is nonetheless a separate issue and does not affect the performance of our Paybux App. Once you transfer bux to Petron Value Card, you can immediately use it to pay for your gas in the form of points redemption.
According to Petron, the Petron Value Card App will soon be like PAYBUX that can show real-time balances.
